The Legends Game

On March 16th 2008 there was an unprecedented event at the Peterborough Arena, that will be truely remembered by everyone who attended.

To mark the fantastic landmark of 25 years of senior Ice Hockey in the city the Legends of Peterborough night of celebration, nostalgia and, of course, hockey took place with two teams of Peterborough Legends faced-off aginst each other.

Former NHL Ironman Garry Unger was the Special Guest for the day, lacing up his skates at the age of 60 to help celebrate Peterborough Ice Hockey. Garry played in the NHL for 16 years and also played for Dundee for a season before coming to Peterborough.

Matchnight memorabilia is still available, including a few of the Game Worn shirts.
