Andy Allan 1990 - 1993
Playing Participant in the Legends of Peterborough event March 16th 2008
A product of the well regarded Durham development system, Andy played two seasons with the Wasps before playing three seasons with the Solihull Barons.
Midway through the 1990/91 season, coach Rocky Saganiuk saw Andy as the ideal boost to his defensive unit and signed up a player who was to be key to the Pirates rearguard that went on to secure two consecutive appearances at Wembley for the British Championship Finals.
With more than 100 appearances for the Pirates under his belt, Andy moved on in 1993 to newcomers Milton Keynes before touring the UK via Guildford, Telford, Stevenage and Swindon before returning for his final top flight appearance at Milton Keynes in the 1998/99 season.
