Arthur Smallman only played 32 games for Pirates, 16 in each of his seasons.

He never looked like a hockey player and you never knew quite what to expect from him but …… everybody remembers Arthur.

A gentle giant who always got a huge cheer whenever he got onto the ice, never more so than when he scored his two Pirates goals in the 1986/87 season ……. a championship winning season where he played alongside NHL great Garry Unger.
