Playing Participant in the Legends of Peterborough event March 16th 2008

Drafted up from juniors as an exciting seventeen year old prospect in 1998, Jason grabbed experience from limited ice-time to come through and establish himself by Pirates final season in 2001/02 when he grabbed his debut goal for the club.

The drop down to the EPL and the birth of the Phantoms coincided with Jason’s coming of age as a player and he made an immediate impact at EPL level, taking advantage of regular ice-time to grab a career best 12+5 season and a League and Cup winners medal as reward.

Subsequent seasons saw Jason training with and getting ice-time with Nottingham Panthers in the Elite League but a regular rotation of coaches at Phantoms did little to establish his position with his home town club.

Frustrated with events in Peterborough, Jason signed with Chelmsford for the 2006/07 season but his heart remained in Peterborough and he soon returned to play for the Islanders in the English National League where his prolific form saw him drafted back into the Phantoms side for a brief cameo role in the 2007/08 season.

Always a hugely popular player with the fans and one who never attempted to hide his passion for his team, Jason remains arguably the best Peterborough player not to establish himself at the top level and many hope he may still have time to come good.
