Steve made his debut for Pirates as a sixteen year old in the 2000/01 season where he not only played four games for Pirates but also played one against them when he guested for a short-benched Edinburgh Capitals side !

“Mailer” came into his own with the birth of the Phantoms and completed a 30 game 2003/04 season that delivered his first senior silverware as part of the EPL Cup winning side.

Despite being one of only a handful of players to complete 200 games for Phantoms, Steve is currently enjoying a winning season with the Islanders.

An all-action, hard skating player whose attributes are often better appreciated by fans than by coaches.
