On March 16th 2008 there will be an unprecedented event taking place here at Planet Ice.

To mark the fantastic landmark of 25 years of senior hockey in our town we will be holding a night of celebration, nostalgia and, of course, hockey when two teams of Peterborough Legends face-off against one and other.

From our part we will be working non stop to have in attendance as many names from our past as we can to make it more than a night to remember but a night to never forget, the club has contacted 3 of our most successful and popular imports all of whom have agreed to attend and many big names are coming forward upon hearing about the event.

We intend to have players in attendance from year one through to current day and we are confident we will have many a name, some of the famous ones and some we have simply forgotten about.

The night itself is one for all of us to celebrate and share an evening with so many players and people that have impacted our great club and sport in this town, there will be other activities on the night to recognise particular achievements from some individuals as well as fun activity, it will be a night not to be missed by any hockey fan past or present, we are keen that its not just past players that we have there on the night but past supporters, sponsors and officials as well.

More information as we have it but do two things now, book the date in your diary and perhaps think about a morning off work the morning after as we intend a bit of a party in the bar post game with a late license and some serious reminiscing and chit chat with the guys who will have many a tale to recollect.
